Mary attended St. Rose and graduated from Maloney High School. She received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Southern Connecticut State University, obtained a Sixth-Year degree in Educational Leadership, and received the Educational Leadership Student Award for Excellence in Practice. She then transitioned into administration and served over 10 years as a Director of Special Education and a High School Assistant Principal.
When Mary married Jim 32 years ago, they too decided to raise their children, Madeline (Thomas) and Nicholas, in Meriden. Mary has been involved in public life for many years and maintained a strong presence in her children’s local activities, both in school and the community. She was also an active member of St. Andrews Church and proudly served on their vestry.
