2024 Bootcamp

Sign up for Emerge Connecticut’s hybrid 2024 Bootcamp June 29th and 30th to learn the skills you need to run for elected office and win. This bootcamp is intended for Democratic women who are currently running for office in the State Legislature, regardless of whether or not they have run before. There is an online, one hour orientation on Monday, June 24th in addition to the two weekend days. Apply here!

What You’ll Learn

The Emerge Connecticut 2024 Bootcamp is an intensive two-day program to give women the training they need to run, and win, in 2024. Curricula will include the following topics presented by top political strategists and trainers:

  • Message creation
  • Campaign plan and budgeting
  • Building and using your team
  • Field plan
  • Endorsements
  • Social media and digital media
  • Press relations and earned media
  • Campaign finance
  • Public speaking

Saturday, June 29th in person in Hartford 9:30 a.m.  – 4:30 p.m.

The Emerge Connecticut Boot Camp training program has been developed for Democratic women who are currently running for office in 2024.

Tuition

Tuition for the Emerge Connecticut Campaigning in Crisis Boot Camp is $250, with a $35 application fee. The full tuition is due the first day of the Boot Camp. Once accepted to the boot camp, you will receive a link to pay your tuition online. Tuition can also be paid by mail with a check paid to Emerge. Once you complete Boot Camp you will be considered an Emerge Connecticut Boot Camp Alumna and have access to our alumnae resources as well as continuing education opportunities for alumnae. According to CT SEEC guidance, tuition must be paid by campaign or party committee accounts. Due to campaign finance regulations, Emerge Connecticut cannot provide scholarships to Boot Camp participants. The link for the application fee can be found in the application.
